Under the unified coordination of the Yangtze River Waterway Bureau, the Yangtze River Wuhan Waterway Bureau, together with the Yichang Waterway Bureau and other units, completed the "Yangtze River Navigation Reference Map (Wuhan-Yichang)" map (2015 version) for the first time recently officially released Publishing and distribution.

The newly revised "Reference Map for Navigation in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River (Wuhan-Yichang)" covers the main section of the Yangtze River from Yichang West Dam to Wuhan Yangluo, with a total length of about 664 kilometers. The map is a detailed introduction of the waterway, navigational aids, bridges and related land areas such as the topography, features and landforms of the Yangtze River Route (Wuhan-Yichang) in a combination of waterway maps and explanatory text. In the process of editing and editing maps, we have fully absorbed the previous experience in the compilation of reference charts for navigation, extensively solicited opinions and suggestions from channel, shipping, maritime, and marine charting experts, and added ship routes, traverse areas, warning areas, and berths in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. Areas, renovated buildings, newly built bridges, main land transportation routes, mid- and downstream navigation regulations and other navigational and navigation-related elements have enriched reference information for ship navigation and better meet the development needs of the Yangtze River water transport.
